Default 2013 5.0 squeal

Good morning everyone!

I have a 2013 F150 5.0 4x4, when its cold out, I get a squeal after start-up
I have not had time to look more into it, But I was wondering if anyone else
has had this happen and what they did to fix the issue, Just trying to get some ideas of where I should look.

Thanks for the help!

Kevin

If it squeals for a bit then goes away its usually a slipping belt. Check your belt and see if its worn or missing ribs. You can take a bar of soap and carefully touch the belt while the engine is running. If it makes the noise go away you know its the belt causing the issue.

Thanks for the reply, it's more of a bearing/metal squeal
I tried to upload the sound but it doesn't like the format
So I'll try to convert it so everyone can hear it
Thanks for the idea!

Yes that's my next move but I crawled under while it was making that noise and sounds like it's coming from the trans
😑 but I have about 9000 left on the drive train warranty
