Buy the Tundra if you want, I have a 5.0 with 50k on it, it's a 2013. I run it hard, tow heavy and maintain it well, it's perfect, no knocking, super smooth and literally just maintenance trips to dealer for oil changes, brakes and tire rotations. Right after I got it when it was in for an oil change, they reflashed the transmission, some kind of update that was available.

Most F150s are rock solid, the guys on forums are often complaining and trying to fix problems. The tundra could have just as many issues and it normally has lower payload and tow ratings.

Thanks for your input, I still haven't completely ruled the F150 out, I just hate having to deal with car dealers. Either way I plan on going the CPO route.
