Default 2012 HD F150 Procharger I-1 Install and Review

We have been Procharger Authorized Distributors for 15 years so we have seen pretty much everything procharger has had to offer from the full race applications to the marine industry. We knew that the I-1 was something special when we got excited about the release of the I-1. Not to mention when they showed up at our facility with two test mules with prototype units installed.

Procharger has always been known for industry leading kits for any application they support. Their kits come with literally everything you need down to the last clamp, to install their product on your car/truck/boat/motorcyle/utv.

The I-1 kit for the SVT Raptor was no different. While these kits are not the usual procharger kits, they are just as easy to install to a qualified technician. Basically a straight forward procharger install plus some wiring for the electronic portion of the kit. For those not familiar with the I-1 here is a short video to demo what the unit is designed to do and its capabilities:

Now back to our customers truck. It not a raptor, its a 2012 Harley Davidson F-150 w/ 6.2L Engine. We know the trucks are not radically different so we were quite sure the kit would work the same, and it did.

We installed the Stage 2 I-1 Kit with the Touchscreen Upgrade and the Black Powder-Coating.

Here are some pictures of the install.

The control module for the I-1. One more module goes inside along with the touchscreen.

A little custom routing with the bypass valve so we didn't have to remove the air deflector.

Surprised no one asked, but what were your Dyno numbers with this exact build. I have the same truck and would be very interested in this set up.

Thanks.

Our dyno is down at the moment, so customer is driving the truck enjoying it. Should be fixed later this week. Ill say this, I went for a ride with the customer, and before we beat on it any longer, we need to upgrade the brakes. That is a whole lot of truck moving at a very high rate of speed.

No Coyote support for the I-1 yet, but I can definately get you pricing for the regular procharger. If you would like.

No word yet since the Regular kit was just released. They will more than likely want to see how that kit sells before they add I-1 Support.
