Took her to the dyno today with a bunch of truck buddies ... The truck is a 2012 f150 5.0 with 3.31s and 20s with a 93 octane 5star tune with kn panel filter and 3" magna flow muffler ... She put down 312hp and 360 tq. In 88* weather

Thumbs up

Wow those are some good numbers, that tune is really making the difference.
Love to see threads like this for the 5.0.

Interesting, that's exactly what my stock 2012 5.0l XLT SCrew 4x4 put down stock. That was at 30' above sea level, and around 94 outside. No tune, 87 octane. 3.55s are probably where the difference is.

It's also really close to what pick up truck news online got with a stock set up like mine.

Gotta love the 5.0l!

Ya that's what I was thinking that the 3.31 were holding a little inside ... But I'm actually contemplating swapping over to them, as I do a lot of city driving with those 20's and my mileage is not so great...

On an acceleration based Dyno like that you can bet those heavy factory 20" wheels are costing you a couple ponies, but they look nice! How do you like the Magnaflow on the 5.0L? I had one on my 4.6L 2V and it was nice a quiet cruising the highway with no drone but had a very healthy tone when I got on it!

Then you want to go the other direction. 3.31 s are designed for highway mileage, and will reduce your city mileage.

I think u misunderstood my last statement lol ... I was thinking of going to 3.55 ... As I already have 3.31s as I posted in the original post. But the 3.55 will help with the city for sure and cant really hurt my highway mpg with 30.5" tires

Oh, yes that will certainly improve mileage in the city.

I Want to see numbers from same truck, on same day, on same dyno, before and after tune.
