There is a TSB out for this issue and it doesn't cover all the vin numbers unfortunately my doesn't cover it although the truck does it. And the dealer is not willing to flash the computer until they can recreate the problem even though they are trying to create it on a computer and not on the road. Phil long Ford gets a thumbs down in my opinion after dealing with them a few times now.

hello after the dealer having my truck for a week and plugging into the computer once again they said they could not fix my truck from surging and taking off violently .i asked what if i get into a accident and i was advised to bring this up with Ford Canada . keep you posted .Oh i did call Ford Canada last week and they were to call me guess what no call back yet ..:

Update so I heard back from the local Lincoln dealership who flashed the PCM for the bucking issue no problem. As well as fixed a couple of problems that the Ford dealership refused to. Stoked!

I'm also having this issue, had the computer reflashed as the TSB indicates but still the problem persists. My dealership requires duplication as well which I have not had time to do. My truck was uncooperative during the test drive I took the tech on. Any help the Ford rep can be here is appreciated!

I know I am bringing up a dead thread but my 2012 5.0 4x4 crew cab just started doing this. it seems when I am turning to pull away from the curb or when I am pulling out of a parking lot at light gas is when it happens. dealer said it might be advance track or RSC kicking in. when I told them of the TSB he asked me what one or if I had the # of TSB. so the link on here is no good any more so if someone could repost link or give me the TSB# for him ill do his job if I have to two get my truck back to normal!
