2012 f150 3.7 v6 performance upgrades?

I just installed a Volant fast fit on my 3.7 yesterday, simple instal and the price wasn't bad either. Just under two hundred. The full system with the cover costs at least double and the benefits weren't there. The throttle is a bit more touchy now and low end torque went up it feels like. The sound alone is worth it to me though. When you step on it, everyone around know its. Lol

Don't let anyone discourage you from modifying your vehicle. Performance is a wonderful thing, it was my first love! If stock power levels are enough for some owners that's fine, whatever floats their boat. But I would personally recommend forced induction. Procharger with some long tunes and a full exhaust ought to be just the ticket

Keep it stock for atleast 5000 miles, preferably 10k miles. I have the same engine and I didn't get the 5.0 for the same reason. To get that engine I had to go up about $8,000 because of the packages the dealer had on site. I had the old 5.4 v8 and this engine has do much more power. The only complete air intake I've seen is the volant but it doesn't seem to have a higher air flow than stock. As for exhaust, true dual X-pipe with your choice of muffler. For aesthetic purposes, I'm going to level mine because I enjoy the way a leveled truck feesl when you drive one.
Wait a couple months and more stuff will come out as this engine gets more popular

You guys realize there's a TON of boosted 3.7L Mustangs, this truck is as easy as slapping some turbos on it, upgrading the fuel pump and injectors and boost away. I suggest some E85 to quell the detonation gods but fuel pump and injector upgrade is a piece of cake.

After seeing all the NA 3.7 stangs that some are pulling 12s in the 1/4 I am surprised there isnt more love for the 3.7 f150s.
Especially in reg cab short box, be it a 2 or 4 wheel drive.

Hi everyone, new to the site and I am picking up my new truck in about 4 hours. It's my first truck and I've been patiently waiting years to get one. Just wondering if anyone knows of some performance boosting accessories I can acquire cheaply and not void my warranty. I've never added any aftermarket stuff to a vehicle but I am mechanically inclined and don't know where to begin. My truck comes stock 302 hp and I would like more
