Damn light came on today, gotta wait till Monday to take it in. Loss of power and fuel mileage big time. Stopped by the dealer, he said he has no known problems of Eco engine light coming on or problems.

Any ideas? The suspense is killing me.

The Ecoboost doesn't have many issues, but it does have one common one which is exactly what you're describing. Thrown codes will be P0430 and/or P0299. You also more than likely have misfire codes on bank 2 cylinders (4/5/6). Common issue, and the dealership will probably attempt TSB 12-6-4, and if it still occurs, TSB 12-10-19 will be applied.

If I were you OP and you do have those codes and/or misfires on the 2nd bank, ask them to perform TSB 12-10-19 right away. Good luck.

Autozone will check codes for free if you can't wait til the dealer gets it.

That was it. Intercooler 3 week back order, cat, reprogram among other things.. Other parts are in. Got a loaner, but sure wish I had my truck back. I was one day away from adding a tuner, first thing the service manager asked was if I had engine mods. Thank God I didn't.
