Very cool I can't wait to see where this goes! But Isn't the Bobcat the one that's ecoboost? It says right there the Road Runner will not be considered ecoboost. Just wondering for sake of correct information.

Probably only available for the Super Duty. If Ford comes out with more hp and torque for a 1/2 ton I don't think that they can afford to up the tow ratings any more to go along with it. Weights are getting up there pretty high now, any higher is probably a lawsuit waiting to happen.

For sake of correct information, I cannot confirm 100% that the Road Runner will have direct injection. I should have not put ecoboost in the title.

So now that one can build-and-price a 2012 F150 Harley Davidson, did the 5.0 Ecoboost motor get delayed, or is it being withheld until the 2013 "refresh" or 2015 all-new redesign? Or did it get cancelled altogether?

This would be very cool but using wikipedia for a source is not a good idea anyone can put info there I might go make an ecoboost 6.2 article right now and tons of people will believe me. Just saying.

Not sure why Ford would ever tread on the name Roadrunner. I know it's just an engine designation but... It's obvious the engineers are getting younger and have no respect for automotive nameplates. I wouldn't have figured them to be so unoriginal. Still looking forward to seeing the product though.

It would be naive to think that everything on Wikipedia is bad information. Like you say, anyone can create a Wikipedia entry, but if it doesn't have good references, Wikipedia will mention that prominently on the entry and everyone will know it for what it is. If an entry is well-referenced and the references are good, relevant, and reliable, then the information is no less accurate than the Encyclopedia Britannica. Probably better since the data is updated more frequently.
