I just looked up some hemi cam specs and the 6.4 stock cam looks pretty impressive. It's 20 deg more duration than the 5.7 cam and nearly .100" more lift. If it were me, I would look hard at what it takes to swap that in before making any decisions.

I found this post on SVT performance and Shawn at AED mentioned with the use of TIVCT you can go with a bigger intake cam. So I am not sure if you have to lock out the system completely or just restrict the amount of movement. From the sound of it a bigger exhaust cam will kill low and mid range power, but a larger intake cam will let the ponies run wild without much lower end losses.
