2011 ecoboost noise on start up

Mine did it for about 0.5 seconds the other morning, have it on video so finally got some evidence. Only has 53,000 KM on it. Bought it used at 38,000 had a fresh dealer oil change, changed at (8000km) 5K mile intervals since.
Oh and regardless of oil manufacturer this is occuring it isn't based on brand. Mine was changed with Castrol Edge and it still made the noise. Next change is Penz Platnium.
And if the oil filter was loose there would be oil leaking that has no bearing either.

Nope. Mine's been run on full synthetic since the first change (I supply dealer with oil). First showed up last winter around 70k km on Pennzoil Platinum. Been using Castrol Edge since February, still have the noise at 100km. Engineering says it's normal "at this time, will update when fix is available.".
I wonder if that includes replacing a blown engine if the chain lets go before they issue a recall...

Make sure the oil filter is on tight enough.

They don't want to listen to video evidence from customers... That's fine.
People are who are looking to buy trucks certainly will.

I have a drop box account with 6 videos doing it. It was doing it bad, I have been using amsoil and filter since 1500 miles and have had the dealer change it every time but the first and last oil change. I took the filter off by my bare hands, No tool. It made a small little noise one time since but the sound was different. I don't think they put my amsoil in the last oil change they did.

It also seems there are a lot of guys lurking in the shadows who've had the timing chain/tensioners replaced to no avail.

I usually let Ford handle maintenance so it's recorded on paper and their computer. This particular truck was a lease return from a Ford dealer in Vancouver. I have no idea what oil or filters the previous owner was using. When I bought the truck it had a Ford MoCo filter. Ford has changed the oil twice in the last 20 days. Once at my request, once 200km later because they said it was overfull and contaminated. Work they did 2 weeks prior.
Sept 21 2014 (2 days after Ford Hotline denied the repairs)
The truck ran really rough (missing) after the start this morning for the first 30 seconds or so.
