2011 ecoboost noise on start up

I was told by my service manager that they have a goodwill warranty out to 140,000km for issues like this. Not that I would put much faith in it, but... It's good to see people are getting this issue taken care of now. My truck has 23,000km on it and it's made the noise twice.

Extented warranty till 150,000km.

Mine was partially covered under goodwill, but it was a fight.

Lots of posts...will this only be covered under 3 year warranty or 5 year powertrain warranty?

Timing chain? It's covered under the power train warranty
