Can't believe the dealer is dumb enough to send a customer a pic like that

This is a non-turbo 3.7 engine.
Hey snakebit95,

Please send a PM with your VIN; I'll see how I can help that engine sound like its old self again.

Dealer still working on my truck but sent a couple of photos to prove they are working on it. Taking forever to get fixed.
After seeing those photos, good LUCK with your repairs!!

I noticed a member on another forum, he has a 2011 F150 Ecoboost with 50k miles and his timing chain broke!! Ford dealer is not warranting the failure and he has major repair expenses. His post was July 2015 and Ford came out with TSB15-0131 on August 19, 2015.

Certainly hope Ford steps up and makes this right!!

Checked and Crystal with Ford Service has contacted forum member and forwarding his information to Regional Service Manager.

Many thanks to Ford Service and to Crystal for being of service, thank you!!!

Mine didn't rattle this morning after a 13 hr sit with the new solenoids on passenger side. It did rattle very very faintly yesterday. It will be a waiting game I guess, but it was rattling every day it sat 12+ hours before I replaced them. It's only been a few days and 100 miles need more time

Where would you think the big parts would go? Other than the (hopefully) old timing chain, nothing in the picture would worry me.

AbitaPro - I can't find the TSB you mentioned online. Can you please post a link or attach the TSB? Thanks!
