Rattle came back yesterday, four days after the replacement. Dealership and I both confirmed the rattle this morning, service and shop manager asked ford hotline about this problem.
Some have had their engines replaced...

Well we will see what happens tomorrow???? I am going to sleep on it.
I suspect that having an official piece of paper from FORD stating that my engine will be fine and no damage will occur might be worth something!

huntnrig did you ever get your truck back from service?
- Timing Chain TSB
- CAC TSB (new deflector and CAT)
- New alternator
- New spark plugs
- New rear window assembly
They were test driving it yesterday to see how it was running but I haven't heard back yet. I hope to have it back Monday maybe.

Did your rear window stop working? Mine has doesn't work any more.
I've read that water leaks in from the window seals and toasts the connections.
ESP is paying for that. It's $840 retail for the window + labour. So my ESP has almost paid for itself already.
Any word on that turbo noise?
I own a travel trailer now... I need my truck lol.

No the slider worked fine, it was the rear-defrost stopped working. The light on the dash wouldn't come on and the window would never defrost. They said it was a broken circuit within the window. Last was they had done the chain TSB, and also replaced the alternator and the catalytic converter. He thought fixing the cat might fix it, but they wanted to have the foreman drive the truck to his house overnight for a final test. That was Thursday. I've heard nothing yesterday or today.
