Default 2011 ecoboost missing

I bought a 2011 f150 ecoboost 4x4 with 36000 miles on it back in Dec. The truck is bone stock except I just installed a sct programmer and now under acceleration it misses horrible sometimes worse than others. And it also has now produced a bov issue in between shifts. If anyone else has these issues or fixes it would be greatly appreciated.

Check your sparkplug gaps. Read this thread to understand why

Yep, that's where I was going. Sometimes the added boost plus plug gaps a bit more than stick equals spark blowout.

When I put the custom tunes in I had the same issue.
Plugs were gapped around .040 from factory.
Gapped to .030 and misfire gone but felt weak down low and mpg sucked.
Also had about 200rpm idle swing.
Regapped to .034... Sorta in between number.
Truck is more responsive down low,mpg is good and no misfires or codes being thrown.
Idle still has a slight swing to it but not as bad.
Might try .030 some day again but reading stuff on plug gap and turbo charged vehicles leads me to believe the more gap the better...as long as you don't get misfires from spark blow out.
A week before I put the tune in my truck was reflashed at dealer with latest strategy and it never really felt the same as before...maybe it was just me...
