Default 2011 Ecoboost intercooler removal

I'm curious and wanted to do a "little'' weekend project and remove my intercooler and see how much water is in it. Had the most recent TSB done 2 weeks ago but besides smoother idle even though it was already smooth, shudder is still there and fuel economy has dropped from an easy 11 ltr/100km to 13 ltr/100km.

Has anyone removed it ?
How long did it take ?
Is it hard to do ?

Thanks
Luc

It's easy, I did it in no time. I think I slid it out the bottom. I did mine cause of this though.

Yes unfortunately, it is mostly highway/country roads at either 107km/hr or 80km/hr.

Dear Tanner2, Yap as bored as you were when you started a thread asking question about installing a cold air intake..

You wanted to have colder air !
I wanted to remove water from the air !

Oh, by the way, both our trucks are under warranty and thanks for your advise.

Same here.. would love to hear what someone with a '13 or TSB updated 11/12 found - how much water poured out of it, if any?
