Default 2011 ecoboost Fx4 pulling a semi

Pulled a semi today up a nice covered hill in Georgia. Used 4hi. Did pretty good on the ice. Took awhile but got it done.

Why is the truck in your avatar a different color than the one pulling the semi? Saw a vid of this being done with a cummins. Once the semi got traction it nearly ran over the truck.

Same gray 2011 truck. Ice road. Maybe quality of picture I cropped it and it was taken on an android I think. But that's me why would I take my time to lie I just thought it was cool,he sat for a long time and no other 4wd offered I went got a tow rope came back and hooked up. I'm about to retire from military and go into trucking. I'd like the same done to me

NICE!

4LO might have been a better choice for transmission temp but it sounds like it did fine.

Props to you for doing it. Lighting made it look darker. I've always hoped for a situation like that to present itself...too bad it doesn't snow but once every 5 years here.

Money. What a rush I bet that was ... and a darn nice thing to do, too.

Me too - but I'm the guy parked next to someone with a dead battery needing a jump.
