Default 2011 ecoboost engine ossue

Hey folks, need a little help. I believe I'm having a turbo issue with my 2011 with just over 65K miles. Was at a red light and went to accel into interstate on ramp and lost power under load. Had a shop tell me it was plugs but not convinced. I've owned turbocharged engines before and convinced it's turbos. Any guidance?

I wasn't given the codes. The codes indicated engine replacement and even the tech said that was absurd.

No. They're not on receipt. I've been reading about a possible condensation build up in the intercooler. Any idea?

No mods. CEL flashed then burned solid. Plugs were replaced yesterday for no apparent reason.

Do a search. I think you will find that your issue can be fixed by new spark plugs (with a different gap than stock) and drilling a small hole in your CAC to vent the moister. There are several threads on this and it is well worth your time to read them.

I just had plugs done so I'm probably late on that. I've read something about drilling the hole. What is the CAC?
