Locally, and those posting problems with motors are from 2011. This doesn't mean that all 2011 are lemons. I just would not recommend a 2011 ecoboost, it's the first year of production and I know quite a few that spit the rods out the block. 2012+ I never hear about.

3MM larger compressor wheel on both turbo's for 2013, but ****tier CAC. It shows at the track the 2013 are making more whp. There are some other changes such as plugs. To me the 2013-2014 ecoboost are the ones you want. But I wouldn't hesitate on a 2012.
