Sounds like a pissed off Hemi or I-Force engine owner that just wants to create a story so he can link it in a post in his forum of how crappy Ford is just because he got smoked by one tonight.
Agreed.

I call baloney, first post troll as well......we need a "troll" emoticon to choose from. It would be great to respond to these kind of posts with just a kind of face. What would a troll look like?

well see, the passenger side turbo is the one responsible for that rod...

it was probably due to running an aftermarket air filter and or CAI. you know those new fangled things let through sand that will cause the passenger side turbo only to boost spike to 120psi and blow that rod.

stupid turbos...

I am sorry you all think this is a scam, I was trying to tell fellow ford owners of an issue I have with the engine. I love the truck don't get me wrong, lots of room and the fuel economy is great...very unfortunate for this to happen and I understand you miss belief. But the motor has been well looked after and it may just be a lemon block, I don't know, I am not a mechanic. I do plan on getting another engine back in it and drive it...

Here is the motor at the dealer on an engine stand, the number two rod snapped off just above where it connects to the crankshaft. Its a straight pull apart. There is signs of two breaks on the rod.

I hope you understand this is just something I wanted you to be aware of... I don't know alot of people with this kinda mileage on their trucks...
