Default '11 5.0: RPMs w/4.56 gears and 35in tires?

Those of you w/5.0 how many rpms are y'all running with 35" tires, 4.56gears at 60-70mph?

Looking at getting gears and wondering if I am going to be screaming down the highway.

Thanks.

Doubt you'll find someone with that combo but my rpm calculator says 2100

I am running 35's with 4.56 gears in my 06 5.4. At 75 mph, I run about 2400 rpm that helps at all

2100 doesn't sound to far off with a 6 speed in the 2011

Thanks for the help, the 5.0 can't be that far off.

It actually can be. You'd have to compare top gear ratio in both trannies. You have a 6 speed and other guy has a 4 speed

As of yet you can't get anything but the oem gears for the 2011, so the lowest you can go is a 4.10 at the moment

4.10's will probably be plenty for your truck too. Especially if you don't plan on going with a bigger tire. Plus you have the 6-speed trans so you gearing will probably be a little different. IMO I would go with the 4.10 anyways. But thats just me.

EDIT: I just did a little research. My final drive ratio is 2.61:1. Yours should be 2.69:1. Here is some info for you to check out. http://www.fordf150.net/forums/viewt...p?f=69&t=96869.

I can't seem to find it now, but there was a chart that showed going with 4.56 would put me back to stock mpg and power.

I'm not getting the gears for probably another month as I'm still trying to figure it all out and do some more research.

Also just curious as to why you would go with 4.10 over .56?
