ComQuest I've got the stick on ones as well. There is another type called low profile but I'm not certain if that is the same as the seamless ones. I didn't want to go with in-channel ones for several different reasons like window sensor issues and i've read they can make the window weather seal loose over time.

It means that they go all the way back.

Look at the ford ones in the pics on here, there is a big gap between the front and rear ones. AVS seamless low profile ones go back to the seam of the door so there is no gap.

The only downside so far with the low profile seamless is that they don't "bubble" out enough so the window can only go down an inch or so before rain and stuff starts coming in.

They look great but unfortunately the main reason for them doesn't work well and I wish they extended out for more coverage.

I ordered my OEM window visors & hood bug shield yesterday. I find that buying OEM parts you get a better fit. Jim

Not always the case with everything OEM. As far as rain guards goes not sure how it applies they either fit or they don't? Anyways back on my topic a good example of a bad fit are the OEM mud flaps I hear they leave unsightly gaps and other aftermarket ones fit tight. I don't know first hand as I don't have mud flaps but yeah several threads out there on this topic. I return you back to window deflectors now.
