Got a 44 SIDO on my truck. It's way too loud in the cab because it's literally right under the back seat of the cab. Do I have to move the whole thing back or can I just put pipes on the outlets and run them backward?

The vibration can be caused by a number of things if all new mounts were fabricated. Without some photos it is tough to say what exactly it could be. You might want to go back to the exhaust shop that installed the system and explain what you have going on. They will probably be able to figure it out for you.

If your exhaust is dumped right underneath the cab, running at least 12 inches of tailpipe after the muffler will quiet it down some and smooth out your exhaust note. Moving the muffler back and then running 12 inches of tailpipe would help to reduce interior sound levels even more.

If I have a glasspack in place of factory muffler and I change to 10 series muffler si/do, what type of sound difference would that be? ?

Without hearing your truck in person it is very difficult to say what the sound level difference will be, but there will be a noticeable difference in tone when switching over to a Flowmaster Super 10 Series muffler. An added benefit of Flowmaster's chambered muffler design is that they will maintain their level of sound control for the lifetime of the product whereas glasspack mufflers will increase in volume as the packing materials slowly burn or blow out. If you have any further questions or would like a specific muffler or part number recommendation for your truck, you can always feel free to call our Tech Line at 707-544-4761.

Default FlowMaster 817478 Dual rear Exit kit

I installed the FlowMaster 817478 dual cat back rear exit (this kit gives you both a dual and single exit option). It was one of the few kits that did not require the removal of the rear tire for dual exit. When I add this to my cold air kit and a SCT tune it really improved the overall performance of the truck. Also I had Midas do the install and weld all the joints.
