3.5 ecoboost help
just got off the phone with Flowmaster tech support and asked about mufflers for my 2012 F150 Platinum with 3.5 Ecoboost. I want to run real duals, not SIDO with a sound close to my 2007 5.4 with real dual Super 40's. They recommended the 40 series Delta Flow. Was wondering if anybody has them installed and what they sound like. I know I'm comparing a V8 to a V6 but I want something that has a deep sound but not overbearing at highway speeds.

Your choice of muffler will really depend on your sound preference, but Flowmaster does offer great-sounding Cat-back systems and muffler options for EcoBoost F-150s. If you would like a muffler or system recommendation for your truck, give our tech support line a call at 707-544-4761.

I'm very torn between the American Thunder and the Outlaw cat-back systems for my 2015 5.0L. I've seen the two videos on the Outlaw that you guys have posted, but I can't find one on the American Thunder system (specifically the cabin). I have two small kids that ride with me constantly, and although I feel the older might love the sound, I can see it getting annoying trying to hear them after a while. How does the AT compare in the cabin to the Outlaw? Anyway to put a comparison video together? Also, am I correct in thinking the Outlaw sounds more monster-truckish, while the AT sounds more race inspired? I can only judge from the videos I have seen... but that's the impression I get. I'd lean more towards the race tuned sound... that fits my taste better. Anyways, thanks for any insight you can provide!
