Correct. That particular muffler is only available in the kit. However, a Flowmaster Super 50 Series muffler is also a great choice for your truck and it is available in a 3.00" Center In / 2.50" Dual Out configuration.

If you are looking for a muffler only and want an aggressive sound, I would go with either a Super 40 Series muffler part #953049 or a Super 44 Series muffler part #943049. The Super 40 has a larger case and extra delta plate, compared to the Super 44, which removes a bit more rasp and interior resonance. However, the Super 44 will be a little more aggressive. The choice is yours.

If you are looking for a complete Cat-back kit, Flowmaster offers a Force II system and an American Thunder system in a single in/single out configuration.

I just installed true duals no resonator, no drone, 2- Flowmaster HP2 best combination I have done yet, a little loud on cold start but once warm very quiet. Sounds absolutely awesome while driving through the gears.

We are at our summer home in VA and truck is at our winter home in Las Vegas. Will provide video & sound in November when we go back. There is nuthin' like a 5.4 3 valve and "real" duals with Super 40's.

That depends on the level of sound that you are looking for. Give us a call at (707) 544-4761 and our techs can walk you through your options. If you are serious about picking up a cat-back soon, we are running an instant rebate for July(which ends tomorrow) that can save you up to $75. Thanks for your interest.

I'm running FlowMasters 40 series on my 2011 F150 Ecoboost and it sounds decent for a 3.5 liter V6. Here is the youtube clip.

I know its not a V8, but I still like the sound and wanted something other than the stock exhaust.
