I want to make my running boards black. Not going to plasti dip them because I'm going to spend a lot of time off road and I don't feel like having to constantly re-do them. I want to do it once and be done. I know herculiner is a do-it-yourself cheaper alternative to line-x...looking to see what peoples thoughts or reviews about herculiner are, or if I should just go ahead and get them line-x

Garbage. Used it on my last truck, it sucks, promoted rust. I think it would be to slippy for steps.

I am using it in my 07, installed about 2 years ago, hasn't faded or anything, very pleased with it so far!
