Default Where do i put my spare tire?

Hi all,

I have a 2011 F150 and I am going to lift it and mount 35s. I was wondering if a tire this big could fit in the normal sapre "compartment". If not, does anyone know any good roof racks/baskets that would fit a 35?

Thanks,
Cam

Also im selling 3 raptor rims, located in the bay area, CA if anyone is interested.

I know the 97-03s could fit a 35" in the stock location. Can't say for sure about the 09-14s but being as the Raptor comes with 35s I don't see why a 35" wouldn't fit!

Z7What ... Can't say for sure about the 09-14s but being as the Raptor comes with 35s I don't imagine a 35" would fit!
?????

Raptor ...
  • the tire is 34½" in diameter (315/70x17).
    • the spare wheel IS mounted under the bed. *Same as the F-150.
      .
I doubt that a ½" would prevent using the stock spare mounting.

This is a great question, I'm in the same boat and need to find a spot to store a spare 35'' tire. So has anyone tried to put a 35'' in the stock spare tire location?

It's possible a guy on here Lariut did it. I know he had to remove something to make it for tho, wanna say it was the heat shield. There should be a thread on it.

I am running 315/70R17s on my 2013 FX4 and wanted to match the spare size: I was able to buy a raptor spare tire which was a 325/70R18 that fit into the stock location snugly with no removal of the exhaust heat shield or excessive force required for fitment.

Seems like the problem's already been solved with the rapor info but I'll just add for good measure that I bought a spare 275/65/20 (34.1") and it fit under there fine, didn't even have to bend the heat shield.
