Default Wheelie time!

Have a 13 ego-roost with 5* custom tune. What would it take to turn this into an insano mobile that is still a daily driver and will pass California smog?

Are there any good threads on this type of build? Searched but only found chassie type mods

I named it "the urban farm truck" after the street outlaws series, but now want to back that name up with another couple hundred HP if it can be done safely.

You'll be limited by the fuel system. As far as I know, nobody makes a fuel system upgrade yet for the ecoboost trucks.

What is a good guess for when the fuel system will become the limiting factor? I would love to have 700HP, but then, can the drive line support this as a daily driver...

Full-race got somewhere in the rang of 520hp at the wheels with an intercooler, full exhaust, intake and custom tune. This is probably close to 600 at the crank.

Without some major, major mods after that, you won't get much more.

I need to do something, I just ran a 392 challenger and he started to pass me at the 1/8. We backed out but he won for sure. Although I had the whole family in the truck and the cap on... but a loss is a loss

The main problem with most upgrades for the Eco's is the Ford design. Their flange is a special T3 IIRC. It's not a square mount like other conventional turbos. I'm sure you could get some different injectors, but they would probably cost an arm and leg. You gotta pay to play.

By the way, Farmtrucks engine is somewhere in the 30-40k range. Just to give you an idea what it will take.

Oh I never want to run farm truck, just spunk up my urban farm truck. It is the ultimate sleeper, did not make a peep while racing the chali.

I am going to try turning my 5* up to 11 and see what that does. Currently only tried the 87 octane. 11= 91 octane. Cant get 93 octane out here.

Street racing, with your family in the truck...?

I don't get why you would risk that.

I have to have them in the car, kept getting tickets with them strapped to the hood.

You reproduced? Dang...

Why you street race with family in vehicle? Do you street race other families?

Maybe youd go faster if you dropped them off before the race...
Less weight=faster truck
