My SCT sf3 allows me to do all of those things mentioned. I had an sct on my old dodge too with no other experience with any other tuners except for a cheap suoerchips flashpaq on my first truck. The SCT won't let you down though and you can get a few different models depending on what features you want/need. Check out their website and then check into some people who tune these trucks and you can usually get a combo such as 3 free tunes if you purchase the tuner from them. I know MPT and Mike at 5 star both do something like that. You can Google both of those tuners and their websites will come up as well with good information on them.

I have a used, unlocked SF3 3015 model tuner for $275 if looking for a solid, reliable tuner like that.

Comes with three prelaoded tunes on it for the 5.4, with an 87, 91 and 93 octane tunes and can hold up to ten custom tunes as well. Be looking at gains of about 22-25 wheel HP for the 5.4 although I am pretty sure on the preloaded tunes cannot adjust for axle ratio on the 98.

I didnt take into account the 98! But I did buy my tuner from Franchi with the same deal and it shipped super fast. Then with the money you'll save you can just order some custom tunes and you'll still come out on top money wise
