Default What muffler would sound good on a 2.7 eco

I got my 2016 f150 xlt ccsb, and i am looking for a muffler that offers a great sound without breaking my wallet in half.

Anybody run a spin tech exhaust i had one on my 11 chevy 1500 5.3 and it sounded amazing,

I run Flowmasters 40 series on my 3.5 Eco and I love the sound.

Cool, would it sound any different on a 2.7? And how is the interior sound? I had flowmaster super 44 on my chevy and got bad drone.

It may sound a little different due to a smaller liter, but I don't think it would be extreme. Interior sound is pretty quiet with no major drone on the highway. I'd search for 2.7 videos with aftermarket exhaust, you'll find a bunch. Here's a clip of mine:

Depends on what he's looking for. I knew mine wasn't going to sound like a V8,,, because it's not a V8. The OP must be realistic in sound. Now, my next truck will be a V8 because I do like that nice rumble. I wouldn't go so far to tell the OP that it's a waste of money or he'll be disappointed. I'm happy with mine and I'm glad I didn't keep it stock. Everyone's different in what they like. I've heard a lot of good sounding Eco exhausts. With all that being said, I'm going to do exhaust on whatever vehicle I own, but that's just me.

That doesn't sound bad, but what do you think of this one?

Thank you, not really liking the outlaw series its a little loud for my taste. either the super 40 or venom 300, is what i am leaning to now.

I have to agree with this... I've listened to all the clips on youtube from Borla, Flowmster, AFE, MBRP etc... and its very disappointing. If you are looking for a performance increase I would look into doing a tune first.
