I think this may be the key to keeping these mats looking good...haven't tried tech care or anything else...

Auto parts store or amazon

They appear to have changed the name, the bottle in the photo may very well be the same one I used on some boat upholstery in 1997

Do your feet slip on them now? I just spray with some orangeblast and then scrub, then hose off. Look new everytime I do that.

Yes, very slippery now, so maybe there are better options

Orangeblast is available at Lowes and Wal-mart. Spray it on when the mats are dry, then spray a little water on them and scrub with a brush, then hose off. Clean as the day they were made and ZERO slipperiness or sliding.

But do they go back to their dark black new appearance? I cleaned mine with soap and water and the worn center section still looked off-color

I use Simple Green and a scrub brush on my Wade Sure Fit floor liners. They look like new and are not slippery.

Default cleaner

I use Mequiars Quick Detail. it leaves the mats clean and looking better but without the slick sheen that some of the protectant types leave.I had a Sportrac that had the rubber mat for the entire floor and used this exclusively to clean and keep it looking good. If they are really muddy I wash with soap and water first.
