Weathertech Digital Fit Floor Liners: Question
#11
I bought the WeatherTech mats a few years ago based on the mostly rave reviews on this site. To put it simply, I think they are way overrated. The driver's side mat is ok, becuase it stays due to the retaining post. The passenger side is a little bit worse because it will slide around an inch or so creating a gap that I don't care for. The rear mat....what a joke. My old man bought some Husky mats recently for his 2014, and I dislike mine enough that I have considered going that route as well. The Huskeys have nibs on the bottom to keep them and place, while the WeatherTech's are free to slide around.

I've tried everything short of heating them up
I am going to return them and order the Husky Liners X-act Contour Floor Liners

Yep! Mine do not fit well on my 2012 XLT either. I bought them prior to leaving on vacation and thought they might "relax" to fit properly. When I returned home I called the vendor who suggested warming them and sticking Velcro on the back. Or return them, but "they are the right one."
Well, I screwed around so long, that I waited too long to return them. That's my screw up.
I do use them in the winter weather to catch snow, mud etc. They are good for that ... they just do not fit well, nor look as good as advertised.

I am hoping the Huskies are better

I have used Weathertech's in the past too and the only problem I have had with them is they slide around. I think I am going to give the Husky Weatherbeaters a try when my new 2015 F150 arrives.

Update:
I installed the Husky Liners X-act Contour Floor Liners and they fit perfectly!
Plus with the little nibs on the back of the mat they do not slide around.

Picked up a set of the Weathertech Digital Fit Floor Liners for my '13 FX2
I'm having an issue with the floor liner lifiting not sitting flush or close to flush on the door edge - It's actually lifted by about half inch on both the driver and passengers liners and I'm not sure if this is how they are supposed to fit or are they supposed to lay flat (or close to flat)
Any feedback from Members who have them would be appreciated
TIA

Bonus: The Husky mats are much, much better than the cheap Ford carpeted mats that came with the truck

We double and triple checked the part number for my truck and it was correct not sure what the issue was but I am happy with the Husky mats so for me the problem is resolved.
