so, my xcal3 arrived today from VMP tuning. I got it in 10 business days from payment to arrival. Starkey is awesome, the 87 economy tune is as they say in Boston, Wicked Pissah! I havent tried the 87 or 93 performance tunes yet.

I read on another forum where a guy had Troyer's tunes and switched to VMP's and says they are much better. Justin, the owner I believe, also said in the next six months or so the price of tunes will be going up, so I need to get a CAI and order the tunes soon.

honestly, i havent driven enough to really gauge it. I picked up a ScanGaugeII for the paltry sum of free, my commute to and from work, all of 19 miles, showed my average economy of 15.8mpg.
