I just found a place that will install the security system + remote start for $200-$250 (including the bypass piece)

I installed this alarm myself after i purchased it with the items above. I also opted for a auto truck bed lock - while my truck already has a locking tailgate i tied it into the alarm. On a seperate set of wires than door lock - i don't want my tailgate unlocking everytime i unlock my doors. Only when i needed them too. Anyways yes you needed the bypass switch. And while i installed myself i must say that it took me all day to do it where someone can do it in a couple hours. Bestbuy will overcharge you. Personally, bestbuy has messed stuff up. While installer to installer - competency varies. You can find the alarm in various online retailers for as little as 220. I paid for all my gadgets for just about 320.00. Inclusive with bypass key adapter. 1-10 i give install a 8 but thats because im not most savy electrical people. Anyways its a great alarm. If you need to take to bestbuy because no other alternatives i would purchase alarm online from a good online retailer, (sonixelectronix, crutchfield etc...) and take to bestbuy. Because then things will be cheaper for you.

Hope this helps,
Neil

I love my 5901 on my 2010 F150. I got it with perfect installation for $500. It did take them 5 hours to get it the way I wanted it.
