banks power
I thought that Banks Power only made bolt ons for diesel trucks, but now i see that they make stuff for gas engines. I have seen what banks can do for a diesel (extreme power), so my question is, has anyone heard of how banks performs for gas engines. I did have my heart set on a K&N CAI, a Roush exhaust and a superchips tuner, but banks has a three of these. So i was wondering what would be better?

Well Banks has been doing this type of thing since 50's. There is a little shop just north of me that is an authorized banks install center. The guy swears buy the quality and company. I had talked to him about a twin turbo setup and well didnt have enough cash flow for it. You gotta be careful though and either order thru bank or call banks and make sure where your buying your stuff is thru an authorized dealer or you may not get warranty.

What is the best out there for the price. Is the k&n, roush and superchips the way to go or what? Banks doesn't seem too far off in price compared to what i was looking at. I think the banks ram air intake seems pretty good. Is it? What about the other banks products. Idk should i just stick with what im already looking at?

I would go with an AF1, S&B, or even AEM for intakes and then an Xcal2 with custom tunes from either Troyer Perfoarmance or VMP Tuning. Next I would go with a nice flow through muffler, like magnaflow, but not a glasspack.

I am wondering if sct is making the xcal2 anymore... all i am finding is xcal3 but that is for my vehicle. If you are wanting to know which cai is best maybe get a few ideals here on the forum then do a search on google like banks vs. k and n etc... do some reading if you can find unbiased reports.. I will be looking also and if i find anything ill post it...

Thanks for the feedback guys! I think i will go with the AF1 intake, Roush exhaust and the superchips tuner. I decided on the superchips b/c it is a lil cheaper and yet basically the same as the X3. They are both upgradable and have the same 3 power settings.
