Just installed Tow mirrors
I just got done installing the 1Aauto tow mirrors on my 2010. I didn't have heated mirrors so I got a heated mirror climate control off of ebay, (turned out it has the "mirror icon" so it is correct being as how I don't have a rear window defroster. There's a couple write ups on how to do it already, so I'll just add that for me the hardest parts were getting the pull stems for the door locks lined up with the hole, other than that the whole think was a snap. I took it out on the freeway, and there is no vibration, they feel really solid, and they were packaged well. Biggest problem, my wife wants heated mirrors on her 2009 Escape now, but it's not plug and play because there's with heated mirror door harness.......so there's not enough wires in the plug.

Tow mirrors are probably the best and easiest mod to do. When I swapped my regular power mirrors for heated ones, being the bonehead I am, I ordered a climate unit from a 2011 (my truck was a 2009) and when I installed it, my A/C stopped working. So I put my original back on and lived without heated mirrors.

Here's a side by side picture if anybody needs to see the difference in the climate controls, the one in the dash doesn't have a mirror or rear window button, the one in my hand has a mirror button. I took my boat boat for a little tow today, and the new mirrors are awesome.

How much wider are the tow mirrors than the stock power mirrors? I have a 2004 and the mirrors clear my garage door by 2-3 inches on each side.I guess power fold is the answer.
