Default AVS Seamless visors 2012 Supercrew w/ Tow Mirrors

So, I've been a bit annoyed by the amount of wind noise when my window is cracked. So I searched around and found that the AVS seamless stick on visors looked pretty great.
Ordered a set and they came in yesterday.

I have a huge problem with the fitament. There is a little tab that is supposed slide behind the mirror trim that is the problem. If I slide it behind the mirror trim on my tow mirrors, it pushes out the trim way far and looks ridiculous.

Anyone else have this problem? And did you just cut the tab off to fix it? Photos would be appreciated if possible.

Either way, something has to be cut or these are going back.

Here is the pictures of the left and right side area where you are talking about. They both tucked inside just perfectly. Just make sure the foam backing on the back side of the mirrors isn't interfering. This is a 2013 with the AVS low profile.

Yeah, they fit much better on your truck. I ended up going ahead and cutting the tabs off and actually trimming roughly 1/4" off of each end to make them fit the windows correctly. I think the tow mirrors are the issue??? I've heard of others with the standard mirrors having no problem. Test driving today to see what I think of them.
