Howdy I have an Ultrastart U1280XR Pro and love it. I just installed tow mirrors with puddle lights and noticed they did not come on when I unlocked the doors. I grabed my factory remote and hit the unlock button and the dome light came on as well as the puddle lights. So now I know it is the remote start remote that is not turning them on. Anybody know if I can do this though the service mode menu? Or do I have to have a wire run first. The manual is not so clear to me. Thanks

if that starter supports it you would need to wire up the dome supervision output

Thanks I have looked at the install manual and it says it can be done it is just not clear if I need to run a wire or not. I guess I will bring it in to where I got it installed and see what they say.
