View Poll Results: What Tuner/Programmer do you use?
I use the superchips flashpaq and its not horrible better throttle response and lots of shift point and pressure customization but it seems like i have to run the 91 performance tune with 91 or better fuel to feel a real power difference. ive had it for about a year now and wish i had gone with the edge ive heard so many good things about it for fords
I have a 2011 f-150 ecoboost and purchaced the Airaid intake system ,heartthrob cat back exhaust system and the Superchips Flashpaq Tuner ,the tuner is nothing but problems from trying to update it to dealing with the techs, when you try to update the tuner it tells you that it's updated, and it's not,the noise coming from the engine compart is unbareable and spark knocks everytime you give it gas, called the techs told them what it was doing and there answer was so whats your problem.....this thing did nothing but make my truck run worse,I would advise people to do more reasearch and find another tuner this one does not work on the ecoboost,I returned my truck to stock tune runs a lot better then any tune that this tuner has, myself if I can't get a refund I will toss this and look for another tuner or stay stock,I just want to give other ecoboost owners a heads-up on this Superchips Flashpaq Tuner <does not work
Aye, we've had a lot of members with issues on the Superchips for Ecoboost sadly.

running the 93 tune from livernois motorsport with the airaid CAI on my eco boost and loving every second of it, no problems what so ever. 104hp and 114ftlbs gain at 3k rpm and 69hp and 88ftlbs peak at the wheels
I've spent 3 days reading all about the canned and custom tuners in this forum .. but i am just more confused .. i have a 2012 5.0L XLT and prefer to have a canned tune .. I've used super-chip on my previous truck (Silverado) .. loved it .. but some ppl here are not recommending it for my f150 ..
Which canned tune you guys think is the best for 2012 5.0L XLT .. (Edge, Hypertech. SuperChips,.. etc ??? i don't care much about MPG .. i just need the extra power and the extra features (Tire size, Fan adjustments, ..etc)

regarding the SCT 3015 SF3 - Does it come with preloaded tunes? and how much will it cost me to order a custom tune?
After my experiance with the superchip tuner on my 2011 f-150 ecoboost (was a nightmare) I am happy to report the tuner I got from rick at livernois motorsports,I went and met with Rick and he gave me a tour of their shop and needless to say I was impressed,as for the tuner I was surprised with the change in performance and I am just using the 87 performance tune and can't wait to try the 93 tune, anyone thinking about a tuner for the ecoboost needs to check out livernois, myself I can't say enough about the company and the employees that I met.....nice job Rick

I'm using a Hypertech power 3 has the same tunes like u are talking about ... I'm running the 93 octane tune and it's a lot of fun ... Easy to notice the difference also have the speed limiter at 128 and stiffer trans setting
