Default Edge

I put the edge evolution in my truck (05 f150 4x4) on a friday evening and by sunday afternoon my tranny was gone. i know turning the shift firmness and rev limiter all the way up dont help, but it still sucks. i did have some tranny problems before the programmer. i guess this just means its time to build it stronger.

p.s. the truck was a lot faster on level 3

I have the Edge Evolution on my 01 150 5.4L SCrew. I run it on lvl 2 and love the extra power. I am seeing an approx 2mpg improvement... which is an added plus!

I have a superchips...I originally had it on my 05 4.2...noticible power...It would make the tires chirp when shifting into 2nd in the mid 30's...Never ever heard a belt make any sound. It was running 18's too...(Got em off my buddies FX4 when he bought 20's )

I now have an 08 FX4 5.4 but am still letting the truck break in a little more before i plug it into my computer...I only have about 500 miles...Ill probably wait till i have 2500...Manual says 1000 mile break in...But im in no hurry From the superchips forum...It is really supposed to wake up the 5.4

My SCT X3 just came in UPS, and I'm waiting for the custom tunes from VMP. The info says there are three canned tunes for my truck...does anyone know if they are any good, or should I just wait for the custom tunes to come from Justin?

Thanks, this is a little like Chrtsimas...

Dunno...my Livewire didnt have the canned ones, I also ordered from VMP though.

You could try em and compare the difference later?? But, do you have any mods that might cause issues??
