You running the canned tunes that come on the X3? Wait until you get some custom tunes. Hopefully I'll be posting those dyno results up soon.

I running XCAL3 with Troyer Tunes, WOW different truck is putting it mildly. I tracked my mileage pre Troyer / mods and post. I live in Lafayette Louisiana and my wife and I make 2 or 3 trips a year up Taos NM and Southern CO. Driving on cruise control 70 - 72 mph we averaged 18.3 mpg on our pre mod trips. Since I've added CAI, Magnaflo, tried Flomaster first...mistake!!!!, and the Troyer XCAL3 tunes we averaged 21.6 mpg. On some individual legs we average 19.0, but when not climbing mountains or fighting headwinds, we saw close to 23 mpg.

I just ordered the under pulleys and cooling fan kit, hope to have it all istalled before our next trip back to Taos in late September. I hoping I can persaude another 2 or 3 mpg out my KR. Best damn road vehicle I have ever had.

Troyer Tunes are worth the wait!

We tried it. It did not seem to want to read it. Although the HP is custom it is not good for the Fords right now. It works GREAT on the GMs though.

Just installed Justin's 87 Performance tune using my Xcal2 moved over from my mustang. (got a new Xcal3 tuner for my Mustang)

MUCH better than stock, firmer shifts, no Throttle lag, and true Torque converter lock up at WOT...Great..tune...I also expect about 1-3 MPG better overall...
