93 octane tune transmission max shift pressure the tuner allows 1 to 2 20% 2 to 3 and 10% 3 to 4. No other changes made to the original tune...

87 performance tune. I haven't made any changes to the tune provided by Troyer other than to change my gear ratio to the 4.56's I had installed after purchasing the tunes.

how is that tune...i was running 20 and i took it down because i didnt want to hurt the tranny seeing as its not the strongest thing in the world, plus i only run 87 as 87 is super expensive and the highest we get in cali is 91

That tune does GREAT... If you put the 91 in try the max tune. Data log some runs. IF you see the knock sensors pulling timing you can adjust the timing in the tuner. I do not remember how well it adjusts. If it knocks see if you can pull .5 of a degree out. If it won't let you pull half pull 1 degree out. I have had the tranny settings like that for 60k miles now.

i am going to toss in the wideband also...and play with the tuning...

the data logging on mine sucks...i cant log more then one run, and when i do i cant upload it to the computer....i dont know why or what i am doing wrong or if i just dont have the correct program? the tuner is the livewire...

Ok no Superchip or Hypertech yet? I am in the market for a tuner and one of the performance shops is telling me that these 2 started the whole chip thing and then carried on to Tuners. Are they no good for the Ford Trucks? I can't find SCT up here in Canada so far.

Take your time and find a SCT dealer that can work with you.

or you can order a sct tuner from a source in the us...sct is the best on the market
