93 octane tune transmission max shift pressure the tuner allows 1 to 2 20% 2 to 3 and 10% 3 to 4. No other changes made to the original tune...
how is that tune...i was running 20 and i took it down because i didnt want to hurt the tranny seeing as its not the strongest thing in the world, plus i only run 87 as 87 is super expensive and the highest we get in cali is 91
That tune does GREAT... If you put the 91 in try the max tune. Data log some runs. IF you see the knock sensors pulling timing you can adjust the timing in the tuner. I do not remember how well it adjusts. If it knocks see if you can pull .5 of a degree out. If it won't let you pull half pull 1 degree out. I have had the tranny settings like that for 60k miles now.

Ok no Superchip or Hypertech yet? I am in the market for a tuner and one of the performance shops is telling me that these 2 started the whole chip thing and then carried on to Tuners. Are they no good for the Ford Trucks? I can't find SCT up here in Canada so far.
