Ditto..... on what Dutchmanxtr has state above on the Undercover Flex. I'm also having same exact issues it's leaking from the hinge, not the side or tailgate gaskets my is barely a month old. I'm currently waiting on my replacement this week by my dealer. But it seems as what Dutchmanxtr is stating it isn't going to solve my issue. You would think after spending your hard earn cash over 800.00 bucks on cover you would get first class quality!!!

Question...is the leak from the hinge or from where the panel meets the frame in each section?

Curious to see what you guys respond with, if you have noticed. I sealed mine with a small amount of clear silicone on the underside of each panel where the frame meets the panel. The panels on the Bak F1 (which I have) seem to float in the frames a bit, thus allowing the water in each panel to drip out of the panel and not to the channels on each side, and thus down the drain tubes. I found this out when I drilled for my bike rack and sealed the topside...only to have it leak on the bottom. Go figure.
Bak has designed their panels to drain left and right to the channels, and it appears that sometimes the panels don't fit as tight as needed in the frames (front to back) so that bit of silicone is good peace of mind. Mine's nearly water tight even in the heaviest of rains...and it has 9 holes in it!!

One for sure went through the metal frame. Without drowning the cover, using just enough to get the cover wet, I could watch the stream run and pool against the frame edge. The water would slowly disappear into the crack, and come out underneath. I'm sure a nice bead of silicone along each seam on my new $1000 cover would have stopped the leak. But why the heck would I do that?
The others were hard to tell how the water got there, but very obvious the drips would build on the rubber seal on the under side.
After a good rain, there would be 3 drip lines across the box, one under each hinge.
The rail end by the cab also leaked like crazy. If the water didn't go down the hose, is leaked by the crappy paper thin piece of foam that capped the end. That was an easy fix, but again why should I have to on an expensive cover.

Default Undercover Flex Leak

Hi. My leaks from where the cord is that you pull to unlatch the last section closes to the cab drips out of metal frame where cord goes into the square metal channel. See my video of my leak if the video uploads, not sure of format.

Default Update on Undercover Flex

Yesterday (8/20/15) my dealer received a replacement cover and he installed it. He then water tested the cover with a garden hose no leaks at the hinges, or cord pull handles like previously. I'll personally give it a real water test this weekend then if there any issues I'll update everyone. I really hope there is not because the cover really looks good on my tremor I hate to have to switch to something else.

If your looking at this cover save yourself the disappointment and look else where. DONOT buy the Under Cover Flex!!! They have Not correct there leaking issues. As I stated in my last post I would update everyone on the 2nd replacement cover. Well it did leaked 10X worst then the first one did. See the attach video's of cover #2 leak. There currently sending my installer # 3 replacement. This will be strike three if it leaks and i will go else where.

That sucks, but it's a part of the design. Silicone is your answer, but if you're opposed then I can no longer help you. Enjoy your multiple returns.

Gojet........nice videos, that's exactly what mine were doing.

So...I found a real easy solution.
After cover #5, I was a little disappointed to say the least in these expensive $1000 covers. After all the BS, I was contemplating the whole idea to even have a cover. I contacted both companies and neither have any comment.
Well, I stumbled across a gently used Ford soft Tri-fold. For $150, I had to buy it. I still like the look of the Bakflip better, but not paying for something that doesn't work. This simple soft cover works great. After a week of rain, not one drop of water in the box.
