I recently bought a white 2006 XLT crew cab with the 4.6L. I enjoy the sound of the stock stereo and am not in a position to buy an expensive aftermarket head. The stock stereo has an AUX button, but there is no 1/8 inch jack on either the face or the tray up on the dash. What I'm wondering is, can I go up under and behind the face and find a plug that i hook another cord up to for my iPod? Does this make sense to anyone? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

there are some aftermarkit moduals that you can get .the aux radio plug on radio is data , so you cant plug straight in .or a fm modulater.

i actually have a intergration unit for sale, it plugs into the factory harness and lets you use the head unit to navigate your ipod, it makes use of the aux button, its called a isimple, works great only reason im selling it is because im fixin to get a aftermarket HU

I haven't seen the isimple... Will check that out... I know the harness that crutchfield has is 100.00...

sold it over the weekend, missed your chance man, look on ebay sometimes you can find them on there for a deal, amazon has them too
