Because they pay for advertising and when people google "stainless works" this thread doesn't pop up. That's total ****.

Then why did you recommend the SW pipe in a pm to me? Lol good thing I didn't take your word for it. Try mbrp. From what I hear, they're **** doesn't leak, rattle or underperform. I'm not speaking from experience, just voicing others opinion on the product.

I know this no help at all for you, but I put a Solo catted downpipe on my 2013 and it basically made no difference in sound. The same or quieter. Their pipe is
stainless, it has 2 high flow cats and a resonator built in. It's pretty sweet. There isn't any hint of a buzz.

I have an offroad Livernois downpipe and stock catback and I haven't heard any buzzing from mine.
+1 I have MAK catless and stock muffler, no buzzing or weird noises.

Is there some sort of flow restriction in the Y-pipe?

I used to have Pacesetter Y's on LSx Camaros/Trans Ams and they had a similar problem. The Y-merge was crap.

My Bad Man. The fit is perfect nice downpipe. But with stock exhaust it sounds like CRAP. Buzzz. And to be honest with the catless I went WOT when I first put it on and heard a noise and just chalked it up to everything expanding and settling in. Mind you I only had that for less than a week and never went WOT but that one time. Now on to the nxt one HF cat DP. Installed it and drove it didn't need to test it. Well I have put some miles on the HF cat DP and last week had the wife messing with me about how my truck was just a little V6. So I put her *** in it and we drove around and went on the interstate hammered it son skinny pedal to the floor Buzzzz. WTF. And this week I went WOT to get through a red light and to pass a Audi A4 and Buzzz. So I thought back to what 2011FXBoost asked me did mine make a buzz sound. Then that is when I was this is BS 2 downpipe over $1200 I want answers period.
And who has an MBRP in the wild on this forum I have not seen a post of someone having one

Yes MAK guaranteed me that the DP they have will not buzz and they seemed shocked that SW is not coming up with a solution or warranty for this problem. And I do like the Y-pipe MAK has they have nice solid looking y-pipe.

So if SW does not step up to the plate. Then I guess I will be looking at another DP. Which I already am. It's just money right. That is why I work to have **** lol. Well I might be able to get $100 for the HF cats if that from the metal yard. SW has really pissed me off I feel they are not backing what they produce. Maybe this thread will motivate them a little probably not but at least ppl will know what to watch out for when buying a DP from them running stock exhaust.
