Smile Exhaust and CAI upgrades

I am new to this site and have just bought my second Ford truck. Its a FX4 super crew 5.0L short box. Im thinking of installing the AIRAID sythamax CAI with the SOLO Performance exhaust Mach X Dual 3". From my reasearch online this seems to be the best value for your dollar set up. As i am new to performance upgrades i would welcome any and all comments/opinions

cheers...

Airaid, Volant, aFe, K&N all make a nice intake. For the exhaust, it really depends on the sound you want (listen to utube vids) since there are so may great options. Looks like you are on the right track...

How loud do you want it to be? The 44's are the loudest FM carries. Have you listened to any vid clips yet?

Tough to say, sound is so subjective from one person to the other. It will be louder since you don't have much cab to distance you from the muffler. If you like the way it sounds on the vid clips, you should be ok though!!!
