Talking SCT X4 87 Octane Tune vs. Stock

I just installed the SCT 87 octane tune into my 2011 Ecoboost. The tune is very mild, with normal driving, but comes alive when it is gotten down on. I decided to re-tune the truck after installing a lift and over sized wheels and tires. The truck still ran well with the factory tune but had a noticeable amount of drag to it. The tune has really brought the truck back to life and I have noticed a decent increase in fuel mileage after retuning. My mpg had dropped to about 12 in the city and not much over that on the highway after installing the wheels and tires. City mpg is now at 15 + and hwy is 17-19 depending on wind. Granted the larger circumference tire was not accounted for before the tune either, so this may be some of the increase in mileage I am seeing. There is a night and day difference between the SCT and the Stock tune. I have also ordered some custom tunes which I am anxious to try out as soon as I get a chance. I hope this helps anyone who is undecided about installing an aftermarket tune. I wish I wouldn't have waited so long to do it.
