Hey everyone,

I am thinking about getting a Roush CAI for my new 2016 SCrew V6 FFV. Just looking for a couple more HP and a more aggressive sound. Anyone installed one of these care to share their opinion? Was it worth it, did you notice any differences, etc.? What about just replacing the air filter with an AEM dryflow?

Roush website says it gives about a ~12 hp boost which helps me towards the 300 that I'm looking for (282 stock).

Are there any other manufacturers I should be considering instead, or any other mods that I should look at first?

They sound great. K&n kits are cheaper.
Might feel little better throttle response & louder sound. Don't expect to feel a whole lot more power.

Tuner is where you get the power.

I have a Rousch CAI on my 2013 F150 SCREW FX4 5.0L. It sounds good, but not sure it adds much HP. Im with the other posters that this is not an answer for increased HP. I haven't put my truck on a dyno or anything, but IF there is a bump in HP, its not noticeable. But I will say... I love the sound. I have no idea how it will sound on the ecoboost.

I just bought a 2014 with the 5.0 & it had a roush CAI on it already. I look at it more as " great I don't need to buy a new filter element for a long time" added power is usually a combo of intake ,tune,& exhaust when these CAI are maximized from my experience on other vehicles. If manufacturer claims 10 hp increase I say more like 2-5 hp. The colder the air & the velocity of it entering the TB will help increase power. Its all good though.

I just ordered one for my 15 v6 ffv . Still waiting game for it to come in from American muscle . Will let you know once I get it in

Just got it in today and installed it. It's got a real nice growl to it. Didn't really get to drive it much. Maybe for about 5 mins or so, so I won't be putting too much "review" into it just yet. Will get a chance to drive her more tomorrow and let you know my thoughts. I really like it though

Would the Roush cold air intake give the 2.7 V6 more power ?

i have it on a 14 3.7 like the way it sounds, as far as HP gained, it sounds louder lol.
