Default a rough country nightmare...

I just want to share my experience with rough country so everyone is warned.

I ordered a 2.5" leveling kit for my 02' f150. First, even though the item was back ordered, they still took the money out of my account, which i thought was wrong. Second, I called them and asked when it would be in stock/ shipped and a gentleman told me it would be shipped by the 16th of april. Well that didnt happen and instead it took till the 23rd. (pissed me off some more). Shipping charges remained at 30 dollars which is kinda crazy for an item that is so small and weighs not much more than 20 lbs. ( i got 4 33" tires from discount tire direct with free shipping that took 3 days, i highly recommend them by the way.)

So i finally got my leveling kit in the mail the other day, and guess what? I was missing a torsion bar key!! and on top of that the 1" blocks for the rear of the truck looked beat up (hopefully ill get some pics).

Dont know if i would recommend these guys anymore. They did however overnight the leveling key for me at no cost, which was greatly appreciated. Hopefully everyone else had a better experience with them.

thats why i found a local dealer and went to them, i dont order crap offline, i like face to face communication so i have someone to hit/yell at if they try screwing me over. i ordered a leveling kit for my 96 f150 2-3 years ago and they had it there in 2 days. even though after a year the springs began to sag...

Honestly, your story doesnt sound too bad. Sounds like maybe you need some anger management. Most companies will take your money even if something is backordered, then refund if you change your mind or something happens. Second when on backorder stuff is very hard to give an accurate time on, especially since a lot of these products are made by a generic company and sold to RC, procomp, skyjacker etc.... and eventhough they forgot a piece (**** happens nooones perfect) they were good on it and got it to you asap. Also 20lbs is a fairly heavy package 30 bucks isnt bad.

As for the beat up blocks, they are molded plastic I believe and they will look kinda tough after curing. They also could have been dropped or banged around, but their a rear end block big whoop.

1)my friend had his entire roughcountry 4" lift sent to his house for under 30 bucks by a seller on ebay.

2) it was never posted that it was backordered, nor did i get an email untill i called after 2 weeks to see what was up. They just decided to take my money, but did not feel the importance of informing me of the status of the order.

3)there are a total of 10 parts in the kit. and thats if you count each individual nut and bolt etc. In a kit that has ten parts they forgot one of the main components. thats like forgetting to wipe your *** after you take a crap.

4) I mean hey if you think thats good business practice than you are a better man than I, and i guess me and everyone else on this forum will all go to anger management
