I'm looking into custom fitted matts, I had weather techs in my 04 crew cab and loved them they can be a little slippery when wet. But I got a 2010 f150 and they didn't fit so I'm in the market. The truck I got had the carpet deleted so I just have a rubber floor, are these good with a rubber floor? Or has anyone gotten matts for there floor with no carpet? Any input will be appreciated. Thanks.

Oh and I have no carpet hooks.

Not sure this will work with a rubber floor. The underside of these mats is specifically designed to grip into the carpet sort of like Velcro. I would suspect them to slide a bit on a rubber floor

Maybe install some velcro first then put on the mats?

Putting down a few strips of the soft side of Velcro might work in giving the mats something to stick to. I can't say for sure as I can't test this out right now.

Just ordered a set of these from Costco.ca. They have 20% off sale on now. No charge delivery. $180.79 to the door. Can't wait for them. 2011 Super Crew.

How did you get the factory caps off of the Ford mats? I have the rubber all weather Ford mats and can't figure out how the remove the caps without cutting the mat.

Thanks!
